Resize a Picture to Exact Dimensions in Photoshop
In this short guide, you’ll learn how to resize an image to precise dimensions in Adobe Photoshop. We’ll adjust size using the Image Size dialog and then save either over the original or as a new file.
Step-by-step instructions

Open your image
Launch Photoshop.
Go to File → Open…, select your image, and click Open.

Resize with Image Size
Go to Image → Image Size….
Choose your measurement units (Percent, Pixels, Centimeters) from the drop-down next to Width/Height.
Enter the new Width and Height values.
Click OK to apply the resize.

Save your resized image
Go to File → Save to overwrite the original file.
Or go to File → Save As… to save a new copy and preserve the original.
