Open your image and the Image Size dialog

  • Drag the image into Photoshop to open it.

  • Go to Image → Image Size… (Alt+Ctrl+I on Windows / Option+Command+I on macOS).

Choose units and set the new size

  • Change Dimensions to Percent in the Image Size dialog.

  • Enter 50% to reduce or 150% to enlarge, as needed.

Pick the best resampling method

  • Ensure Resample is enabled.

  • From the Resample menu, choose Preserve Details (enlargement) or Preserve Details 2.0 for improved detail.

  • Adjust Reduce Noise to around 75% while previewing the image quality.

  • Click OK to apply the resize.

  • Press Ctrl+1 / Command+1 to view at 100%.
