Step-by-step instructions

1

Paint the target area with Quick Mask

  • Zoom in on the chin/jaw area.

  • Press Q to enter Quick Mask and press B for the Brush Tool.

  • Set Brush Flow to 100% and size the brush appropriately.

  • Paint along the jawline and slightly under the chin where you want reduction.

2

Turn the paint into a selection

  • Press Q to exit Quick Mask and convert the painted area into a selection overlay.

  • Press Ctrl/Command+Shift+I to invert the selection (so the area under the chin is targeted for fill).

3

Run Generative Fill

  • Click the Generative Fill button (Contextual Task Bar) or go to the Generative Fill panel.

  • Type: remove (or leave blank for a context-aware result) and click Generate.

  • Review the three variations and pick the most natural result.

4

Repeat as needed for other angles

  • If the double chin appears on the left, right, or center, repeat the same Quick Mask → Invert → Generative Fill steps for each area.

  • Zoom out to review symmetry and touch up with additional small passes if necessary.
