Step-by-step instructions

Create or select a vector/text layer

  • Use a Shape tool to draw a shape or the Type Tool (T) to add text.

  • Select its layer in the Layers panel.

Rasterize the layer

  • Right-click the layer and choose Rasterize Layer.

  • Begin editing with pixel-based tools (Brush, Eraser, filters, etc.).
