Create a Contact Sheet in Photoshop (Contact Sheet II)
Photoshop’s Contact Sheet II automatically arranges images into a grid for quick previews or client proofs. You’ll point Photoshop to a folder, configure page settings and thumbnail layout, and export the finished contact sheet.

Step-by-step instructions
Prepare your images
Place all photos you want on the contact sheet into a single folder.
Open Contact Sheet II
Launch Photoshop.
Go to File → Automate → Contact Sheet II.
Choose the source images
In the Contact Sheet II dialog, under Source Images, set Use to Folder.
Click Choose… and navigate to your images folder, then click Choose/OK.
Set document options
Under Document, set Width, Height, and Resolution for your page.
Choose Color Mode (e.g., RGB/CMYK), Bit Depth, and a Color Profile as needed.
Lay out the thumbnails
Under Thumbnails, choose the Place order (Across First or Down First).
Set the desired number of Columns and Rows.
Enable Use Auto-Spacing to evenly space thumbnails.
Generate and save
Click OK and wait while Photoshop opens each image and builds the contact sheet.
Go to File → Save As or File → Export → Export As to save your contact sheet.
