How to Add a Font to Photoshop
Installing a font for Photoshop is a quick, system-level process. You’ll download the font, install it via Font Book, and then access it from Photoshop’s Character panel. Follow these steps to start using your new typeface in any project.

Step-by-step instructions
Download a font
Visit a trusted font library and browse for a font that suits your project.
Download the font file to your computer.
Locate and unzip the font file
Open your Downloads folder.
If the file is a ZIP, double-click to extract it.
Find the font file (commonly .otf or .ttf).
Install the font (Font Book)
Double-click the font file to open Font Book.
Click Install to add the font system-wide.
Use the font in Photoshop
Open Photoshop (restart if it was already open).
Open Window → Character to show the Character panel.
Find your newly installed font in the Font list.
Select the Type Tool (T) and apply the font to your text.
