Change Shirt Color in Photoshop (Fast and Realistic)
Follow these steps to isolate a shirt, apply a Solid Color adjustment, and blend it realistically using Linear Burn. Then soften the mask and dial the opacity for a natural look.

Step-by-step instructions
1
Select the shirt area
Choose the Object Selection Tool (W).
Set Mode to Lasso in the Options bar.
Draw a loose selection around the shirt.
Click Subtract from selection and lasso any areas to remove (e.g., a cord).
2
Apply a Solid Color adjustment
Click the Adjustment Layer icon → Solid Color.
Pick a color and click OK (example: red).
Change the layer’s blend mode to Linear Burn.
3
Soften edges of the selection
Select the adjustment layer’s mask thumbnail.
Open Window → Properties and increase Feather to 2.5 px.
4
Fine-tune the effect
Reduce the adjustment layer’s Opacity to 75%.
Double-click the Solid Color swatch to try different colors until satisfied.
