Remove a Watermark in Photoshop with Color Range and Content-Aware Fill
This method targets the watermark by its color and refines the selection for clean edges. After expanding the selection slightly, you’ll use Content-Aware Fill to seamlessly remove the watermark from the image. Follow the values provided for a reliable starting point, adjusting as needed for your image.

Step-by-step instructions
Duplicate your image layer
Press Ctrl/Command + J to duplicate the photo layer.
Rename the new layer to “Remove Watermark.”
Select the watermark color
Go to Select → Color Range.
Set Select to Sampled Colors and ensure Invert is unchecked.
Use the Eyedropper to click the watermark color (zoom in if needed).
Set Fuzziness to 34 to isolate the watermark color.
Refine the selection edges
Go to Select → Select and Mask.
Set Radius 60 px, Feather 2 px, Contrast 70%, Shift Edge 30%.
Set Output To: Selection and click OK.
Expand the selection slightly
Go to Select → Modify → Expand.
Set Expand By to 1 px and click OK.
Remove with Content-Aware Fill
Go to Edit → Fill.
Set Contents to Content-Aware and click OK.
Press Ctrl/Command + D to deselect.
